BE AN ANGEL FOR CROSS-CULTURAL (EX)CHANGE

In 2007, Tara presented a total 230 performances around the country - from the Arts Theatre in London's West End to Queens Hall Arts Centre in Hexham, Northumberland, from Earlsfield Primary School in Wandsworth to Bridekirk Dovenby in rural Cumbria.

We performed in bright August sunshine in Trafalgar Square and on freezing winter nights in the country's newest Elizabethan theatre, the Rose in Kingston. We were heard on radio and seen on TV - most notably in Michael Wood's facinating 6-part series for the BBC, The Story of India.

The Arts Council has cut our funding by 50%, effective from April this year.
