GENESIS is the epic story of the foundation of modern East Africa by Indian migrants at the beginning of this century. The play weaved actual stories collected from East African Asians living in Britain today, into the tale of three friends, Fateh, Vira and Ishwar, separated from each other and their homeland in the Punjab by the British decision to construct the East African railway.
