Salary: Up to £50,000 per year depending on experience
Contract: full-time, permanent
We are looking for an exceptional creative leader who will shape the artistic direction of the organisation, programme the building with world-class small-scale theatre and community engagement.
In the next stage of Tara’s journey, the Artistic Director will bring new thinking, question what contemporary theatre looks like and how our company can best serve our artists and community.
Tara Arts particularly welcomes applications from people of colour, D/deaf and disabled, and LGBTQ+ creative practitioners or those experiencing barriers due to their socio-economic background. This is a full-time role, but applications from candidates who would wish to do it on a more flexible working pattern, for example due to caring responsibilities or access requirements relating to a disability, would be welcomed. Tara Arts is open to the potential for the role to be undertaken as a job share with salary paid pro rata. All candidates who are D/deaf or disabled and meet the essential criteria will be invited for an interview.
