Leaving his adoptive family in London, he returns home to Kabul, eager to help rebuild a new Afghanistan. But as past and present collide, Saeed must face up to the reality of his changed world.
For over 25 years, Kali Theatre has been developing and producing thought-provoking contemporary theatre by South Asian women writers. Homing Birds is a moving and thought-provoking play by Karachi-born writer Rukhsana Ahmad, which asks if a place can ever be home without a connection to family and roots.
