Tamise En Scène Present La Mouette
Russia, late 1890’s. A house near a lake, in a lost countryside.
Treplev, a young man, lives alone with his uncle. To fight his loneliness, Treplev writes plays, willing to explore new artistic forms. In a house located on the opposite side of the lake lives Nina, his muse and his love. He proceeds to write a strange monologue for Nina and attempts to present it in front of his neighbours, mother… and Trigorin, a famous novelist.
La Mouette explores the links between art and life, talent and love.
