Prevail

A story of love & freedom told through new music and dance

Fri 17 August, 7.30pm

A story told through new music and dance. An oppressive way of life dominates. Two men are alone. Intimate. They are ambushed. There's a struggle. One escapes. The other is taken away, interrogated, imprisoned and punished. They refuse to be separated and fight to be together. Fight to be free. To love. To Prevail.

In 2015, Iain Stringer won a Wandsworth Council arts grant to workshop Prevail at The Putney Arts Theatre, London. In 2017, Prevail was performed as part of an Arts Council England/Lottery Funded Arts in Libraries and Cultural Hubs programme in St Helens.
