After Tara Arts Shelley King has acted in many films and theatre productions and is currently appearing in Coronation Street. Ayub Khan Din wrote the hit stage play & film East is East is currently appearing in the revival at Trafalgar Studios. He also appeared in Tara Arts' productions: Anklets of Fire, This Stories Not For Telling, Salt of the Earth, Miti Ki Gadi and The Little Clay Cart. Paul Bhattacharjee went onto work for the Royal Court Theatre, National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company & appeared in the latest Bond film, Casino Royale. Paul passed away in 2013.

Yogesh Bhatt, who directed and acted in several productions at Tara Arts through the early years, now runs a restaurant in Spain. Yasmin Sidhwa has been head of creative learning at Pegasus Theatre in Oxford for the last 4 years. Previously she worked as Youth and Education Coordinator at Pegasus for 9 years. Nizwar Karanj is now living and working in Mumbai, where he was born. Bhasker Patel has been in many films such as Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and has also done TV work such as Emmerdale. Vincent Ebrahim is a regular on the hit TV series Kumars of No.42, having also worked in Tara Arts’ The Government Inspector, Oedipus the King, The Bourgeois Gentilhomme,Troilus and Cressida, and GenesisShehnaz Khan has now passed away.

Murali Menon is a product of the Calicut School of Drama under the renowned leadership of dramatist G Sankara Pillai. He worked on and off for over 15 years with the company since 1986, before pursuing a highly-successful TV & film career in his native Kerala in south India. V Chandran is another graduate of the Calicut School of Drama, coming from a family of musicians. A versatile flautist and supremely proficient percussionist he also continued to work with the company for over 15 years. He now splits his time between his native Kerala and working with France-based Footsbarn Theatre Company.
