Step through the Edwardian terraced front into a world of colour, where the small is global.
Architecturally a fusion of East & West, Tara Theatre features an intimate 100-seat auditorium, a Studio for rehearsals and small events and an outdoor Patio walled by railway sleepers.
Opening in Autumn 2016, Tara Theatre will be home to world classics, new plays and plays for children - all produced by established and emerging artists...
Tara Theatre has a studded history in Earlsfield. Starting life as a Mission Hall in 1896, it has been a Draper's, an Opticians, a Chiropodists and a Church for newly-arrived migrants. To this history of clothes, eyes, feet & soul, Tara is adding words to breathe dramatic life in a building perched between the centuries.
Connecting Worlds - Tara's vision for a landmark 21st century theatre.
